Some of the contracts awarded are available here: http://uidai.gov.in/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=177&Itemid=214
A Citizens Meeting on UID Number is planned in Hyderabad on 30th July, 2011 to deliberate on threats to civil liberties, natural resources and national security that emerge from it.
Till date about 1.6 crore Unique Identification (UID)/Aadhaar Number enrolments have been completed and about 32 lakh UID numbers generated in Andhra Pradesh. This is approximately 1/3rd of the 95.21 lakh Aadhaar numbers generated in the country so far.
