A Raja's tenure as member Cabinet Committee on UID Authority & related matters
After the British company and the British Government mapped India and Indians with manifest benign motives, now as part of World Bank's etransform Initiative to converge companies, governments and citizens, in the Cabinet Minister rank and Advisor to PM like Nandan Nilekani, Sam Pitroda heads the Public Information Infrastructure & Innovations (PIII) "to convert a billion connected people in India into a billion documented people. All phone users must be documented. Your phone should be connected to your driver’s license, ration card, NREGA etc. Here the UID (unique identification) will play a great role" for a benign public purpose especially for the poor whose plight has compelled even the profit mongers into altruists!
Besides this Cenus is linked to National Population Register (NPR) and is linked to UID Number Database.
